I recently found a stack of these fliers at Melt in Northside, Cincinnati:
The front features a butch/femme couple lighting a unity candle with "Legalize same-sex marriage" written underneath the illustration.
The back reads, "Creative awareness is about waking up to life, it's choices and possibilities for change," followed by, "Fight the good fight," and "Allison & Amanda 2009."
First of all, the butch woman looks just like MTV VJ Kim Stolz circa America’s Next Top Model. Second ,who are Allison and Amanda? Do they want to get married but can’t? Did they already get married? What is the meaning of this?
