CGQB heads to Blue Bar in No. Ky.

Cincinnati Guerrilla Queer Bar decided to share the love this month by taking a trip south of the border to Blue Bar in Covington, Ky. In case you aren’t aware, Cincinnati, while it may legally end at the Ohio River, actually spans three states. The Cincinnati regional airport is even in Kentucky. This is also probably why most people around here are convinced they are really south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

But the great thing about Northern Kentucky is the queer bars that are only a hop, skip and a jump from our home state. And for others, it is their home state. You can smoke inside and buy high proof grain alcohol until the wee hours of the morning. If that isn’t enough to sell you on The Commonwealth, then I don’t know what is.
