Trans discrimination survey and Postcards to the President

I have recently heard of two cool projects going on in the queer community. The first one is Postcards to the President, a grassroots style of organizing to let Obama know that marriage inequality needs to be dealt with. The focus is on college campuses but anyone can help. The group asks that people everywhere make postcards or print some off of their Web site and have as many people as possible to fill them out. Then send them on down to the White House. For more information on this campaign visit PostcardstothePresident.com.

There is also a survey going around about trans discrimination. It is a national survey being conducted by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and the National Center for Transgender Equality. The facilitators are looking to make this the most comprehensive LGBTQ study in history in order to help pass pro-LGBTQ legislation. The survey can be found here.
