NKU charity drag show benefits GLSEN

On Friday, April 17, Northern Kentucky University’s alliance called Common Ground hosted a charity drag show benefiting the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network. The show featured performers from local troupes such as Le Bitchz and James Bondage from the Black Mondays.

Greek life was involved with the show, and fraternities and sororities on campus competed for half of the proceeds to be donated to a charity of their choice. Participating organizations were Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Zeta and Delta Gamma with Phi Sigma Sigma taking home the prize. Half of the money raised went to GLSEN while the other went to the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, which benefits the National Kidney Foundation.
