The News Record, the University of Cincinnati’s independent student newspaper, published coverage of the recent sit-in in response to a hate crime at Tabby’s Bar and Grill as their lead story. Over all, the event was a positive experience with over 100 people in attendance. While there were a few rude remarks made to people present in support of the hate crime victim, there was an overwhelming sea of white – the color people were supposed to wear who were there to fight against hate.

  1. Well, at least someone at our school is taking notice of what we are doing. We work so hard to make a difference. Way to go News Record.

  2. Great time. But I still don’t know why it was called a sitin. It was basically querrilla queer bar, not a protest of any kind.
