As seen on Facebook: NOM’s fan page

This screen capture is from the National Organization for Marriage‘s new Facebook fan page Protect Marriage: One Man, One Woman.

NOM is now on it’s Summer for Marriage Tour, stopping twice in Ohio. (NOM is not stopping in Cincinnati. Personally, I’m surprised Citizens for Community Values didn’t book them.) But, good news! Freedom to Marry is hosting counter events every step of the way.

  2. The interesting thing about the One Man, One Woman Facebook page is that it’s very heavily policed by the moderators. It’s not a free-for-all. Anything even remotely supportive of equality is removed immediately.

And yet it’s full of hate speech.

That means the moderators have seen the hate speech and allowed it to stand. This tells us, I think, as much as we need to know about NOM.

    TRiG.
