University of Cincinnati celebrates World AIDS Day

GenderBlocers create squares for the University of Cincinnati AIDS memorial quilt.

The University of Cincinnati community, including GenderBloc and the Wellness Center, observed World AIDS Day by creating an AIDS memorial quilt and displaying it in Tangeman University Center. Near the display, volunteers educated students, faculty and staff about preventing HIV infections and living positive. Photos from this event are up on the Facebook fan page. UC’s public relations office shot video of the event.
