Event: Word Is Out reading in Chicago

Photo source: Word  Is Out Facebook page, Google ImagesThe author of this blog will be reading at the inaugural Word Is Out, a new monthly series for queers and company to share their stories, on Tuesday, April 10, at Chicago’s Town Hall Pub at 8 p.m.

Word is Out is a collaboration of OutLoud Chicago, a production effort to bring queer entertainment to the mainstream, and In Our Words, an independent queer activist literary salon.

The event will be hosted by Adam Guerino and feature In Our Words founders Nico Lang and Patrick Gill, as well as Samantha IrbyRebecca KlingAdam McOmber and me, of course.

Admission is $5 and includes a companion zine with work from show contributors.
