Sneider, Justin Vivian Bond of Shortbus fame, and Dorothy Allison, author of Bastard out of Carolina, at the Wicker Park Arts Center. Bonus: Everyone also brought along their fiercest frocks for the festivities.
Sister Spit Chicago was amazing. I don’t normally have a long attention span for readings, but the all-star lineup Tea brought to Chicago absolutely blew me away. I laughed, I cried, I wrote. I was jealous of everyone’s clothes. Although the lineup varies, if you get a chance to see Sister Spit in your area, I highly recommend it.
